ISCCM, Ahmedabad branch was found in the year 2010 with a very few intensivists in the city of Ahmedabad. However today Ahmedabad has seen a turnaround in the field of critical care & there are more than 150 members in this branch & more & more doctors are joining increasing the strength of ISCCM Ahmedabad Branch. ISCCM Ahmedabad branch was doing many academic activities round the year since many years but there was no common platform to share ideas in the state of Gujarat. Gujarat Criticon 2013 fulfilled the dreams of intensivists of Ahmedabad by successfully hosting the first state level conference jointly with all Gujarat state branches of ISCCM. It was attended by record number of more than 1200 delegates & more than 400 delegates in various confernces. Since then till date the trend continues & Gujarat Criticon is being organized every year by various state branches. The uniqueness is that it is always a joint efforts of various branches of Gujarat & not by anyone specific host branch.

ISCCM Ahmedabad has always remained a forerunner in doing various academic activities since its inception & is will do the same for years to come.

Ahmedabad has witnessed approval of significant number of IDCC seats in various hospitals of Ahmedabad whose details can be found in the academic sections.
